Mermaids have long been a subject of myth, legend and beauty; swimming through the seas and charming men with their songs. Mermaid in Blue Jeans by Chelsea DesignWorks shows the stylish side of these ocean lovelies with pink and blue hair and cool sunglasses. The collection consists of a 24” x 44” block repeat with each block measuring approximately 10.5” x 10.5.” There is an all-over mermaid pattern on dark blue with frolicking jellyfish, octopus and other sea creatures. A tonal fish-scale ombre in two color combinations, a tossed seaweed pattern also in two colors, a small starfish allover, a multi-colored geometric fish pattern and a tone-on-tone mermaid swimming along a meandering current are the remaining coordinates of this group. The palette is dark blue with accents of aqua, fuchsia, sandy yellow, minty greens and dark coral.
