Mini Sampler Beginning Quilt Class

This class is a perfect introduction to begin your creative journey into the wonderful world of quilting. In three class sessions, you will learn how to use a rotary cutter and ruler efficiently, better pressing skills, common piecing methods and putting it all together with a sashing for a quilt top. The squares involve a four patch, rail fence and half square triangles which will be building blocks for lots of different quilt designs.
Student should have experience with a sewing machine and know how to sew a straight line.
During the first class session you will shop for the fabrics required and be able to get help selecting colors.
Bring your own machine or rent one from us. ($10 per session) (limited machines available)

5 -8 Fat quarters
1/2 yd for sashing
Craft size batting 36 X 46
1 1/4 yd backing
Sewing Machine with 1/4 in. foot or equivalent and bobbin
small scissors
thread for piecing and quilting
pins
rotary cutter
safety pins
6 1/2 x 24 1/2 rotary cutter ruler
