Our special classes for home school groups. Participants will learn a progression of skills by completing small projects. You will also recieve a 20% discount on all supplies needed for class purchased at Busy Bee (some exclusions apply).
The Design House has rotary cutters, cutting mats and ironing stations to use. Although you may bring small ones to use if you prefer.
We have a limited number of sewing machines you can rent from us ($10/session), call us for details.
Learn to make an apron
Learn to make a simple apron. Great for beginners age 10 and up. In this class, you will learn how to: use a paper pattern and cut from it, attach a pocket, do an edges titch and crisp ironing techniques
Supply List:
3/4 yard fabric for main part of apron (if using material that has a horizontal pattern you need 1 yd)
1 yard fabric for pockets, trim and lining (if using fabric that has a horizontal pattern you need 1 1/4 yd)
2 yards of 1 1/2" ribbon
thread to match for top stitching

Learn to make a simple pillow case.
We will learn how to make a french seam, work on pressing skills and most of all have a fun time and take home completed project
Pre-requisite: Must have knowledge of how to work your sewing machine and rotary cutter skills. We suggest taking the Beginner Bee class if needed to learn the basics.
