Sew & Grow at the Bee - Apron
Learn to make a simple apron. Great for beginners age 10 and up. In this class, you will learn how to: use a paper pattern and cut from it, attach a pocket, do an edgestitch and crisp ironing techinques
Pre-requisite: Must have knowledge of how to work your sewing machine and rotary cutter skills. We suggest taking the Beginner Bee class if needed to learn the basics.
Supply List:
3/4 yard fabric for main part of apron (if using material that has a horizontal pattern you need 1 yd)
1 yard fabric for pockets, trim and lining (if using fabric that has a horizontal pattern you need 1 1/4 yd)
2 yards of 1 1/2" ribbon
thread to match for topstitching
pins
fabric scissors
sewing machine with 1/4 inch foot
rotary cutter
The Design House has rotary cutters, cutting mats and ironing stations to use.
