Instructor Bio: | My love of quilting began in 1976 when I made my first quilt. I have not stopped since! I managed to quilt while teaching 6th graders for 33 years - my favorite grade. I retired in June 2010, and my husband and I moved from California to New Mexico where I purchased my long arm machine (a long desired dream). I started Cedar Grove Quilting in 2012 and On the Mountain Retreats in 2011 with a friend I met at Busy Bee. Over the years I have met and made wonderful friends through our passion of quilting. These friendships are valued and never forgotten. I have taught classes in California, Bend, Oregon and New Mexico. While living in Bend, 6 of us started Mt. Bachelor Quilt Guild in 1983 which is still going strong today. I am also Quilt in a Day certified by Eleanor Burns. My husband of 49+ years has always encouraged and supported me in my quilting endeavors! |
